When my mother passed it was so completely overwhelming and for a long time I wasn't ready to write this song - not emotionally ready and not ready as a musician.
In a way I think being on lockdown and out of work when the ten year mark came was lucky. I had complete freedom to explore how I felt, how I'd changed and grown over the past decade and to obsess over every word, every note and every sound that went into the song.
This is everything I've wanted to say for so long.
